My music is a compilation of everyday affairs which have in some way impacted my life...and opened my eyes to the world around me, i believe that the best music is the music that describes what has happened... as far as where my sound comes from ...well...thats just thoughts that couldn't contain themselves,that begged me to learn to make them enjoyable ... Socks in the microwave, is a musical work of emotional singing and songwriting that entraps its listeners. I strive for perfection. there is no comparison to this band, it's utterly and completely original. This band was created by Darren Mitchell in early 2006 and was merely a side project. I now find thrill in playing as many shows as possible. Coffee shops,Small venues,Mood setting venues, and parties have been my passion. Socks in the microwave has taught me to never be afraid to express your feelings, music and writings. So i hope you enjoy these tracks.
