ARTIST - ShutterStone

ShutterStone is a Modern Rock Band with Classic Rock influence. The bands heavy melodic sound and amazing hooks are a draw for any fan of music. ShutterStone formed in December of 2005 with its founding members, Derek Selke and John Scaffidi. In taking the project live the band recruited Steve Pfeffer on drums and Doug Legnola on lead guitar. In early 2006 ShutterStone began recording their first EP at Thermal Studios with the aid of Kevin Soffera on drums who has done national tours with Seether and Breaking Benjamin. The self titled EP was released in December of 2006. Since the release, songs from the album have been heard on 94.1 WYSP's Loud and Local, Radio 104.5's local show, 91.7 WLFR, 102.7 The Ace and 93.3 WMMR's Local Shots. The band has taken the stage in almost all the major local venues in the tri state area notably, Grape Street, The North Star Bar, Dr Watson's, The Sterling Hotel, and Brownies 23E.
