Larry Lane is a soulful, booty shakin' rock band that is accessible with crazy clean guitar solos, a lyrical sense of humor, and a sexy tone to it. If you ain't dancin at the end of a Larry Lane show, you must be a distant relative to the stump sittin' in your backyard. Larry Lane is named after the neighborhood homeboy who rolls around on his little scooter stopping by everyone's house to say hello in the ghettos of White Trash, U.S.A. (it's true) All of Lane's songs were written in Granny's dirty ol' basement where old jukeboxes collect dust rotting away from the memories of greased hair and rusted out convertibles. The band itself is influenced by funk, rock, blues, pop and ain't afraid to write whatever comes out of them. Lane's been regionally nominated twice as Best New Rock Band and Best Rock/Blues Band .
